The data filling setting determines what data (if any) should be inserted in the table when there is no reported data from the exchange for a specific date. Missing data typically occurs when a holidays falls mid-week.

1. Create a historical table.
2. Place a check mark in the data filling box to open more options.
3. Select how you would like the data to be filled in.
4. Set the frequency in which you would like the data filled.
Data Filling Options

Fill Forward - Cells with missing data will be populated with the previous session's closing values. (default)

Fill Backward - Cells with missing data will be populated with the next session's opening values.

Interpolate - This option will fill any missing data in a data series by calculating the average using the previous and next values in the series. This option will not fill blanks at the beginning or end of the data series.

Leave Blank - Cells will be left blank when no data is present for the time series. Uncheck the data filling box for this option.
Data Filling Frequency
- Business - Fills only dates missing data that occur between Monday - Friday.
- Six-day - Fills dates missing data that occur between Monday - Saturday.
- Daily - Fills dates missing data 7 days a week.
